Since I was a kid, I've loved to draw. I was never bored, because as long as I had a pencil and a piece of paper (or even just my desk in class), I would be able to keep myself occupied for hours. I've also fine-tuned my cleaning abilities during that time too, with all the time I spent scrubbing previously mentioned desks.

Once I got to high school and discovered I could really get paid to do what I love, is when I really kicked my passion into high gear. While all my friends were out partying, I was studying the works of all my favourite artists and trying to create my own work.

I finally graduated high school and made it to college. As soon I got accepted I never got over the fact that I was going to start going to school and all my classes would only be drawing related. No more math or science to worry about.

All that was taken away from me on September 13, 2006, when there was a shooting at Dawson College. I wasn't in the same room, but I was a floor above and saw it begin from my window seat in class. I didn't go back to school for over two years and was diagnosed with PTSD. I had a hard time to go out with my friends, or even do the groceries for my mom without having panic attacks. During those two years, I didn't do very much artwork. Finally, one day something clicked and I mustered every bit of courage to go back to school and in May of 2013, I finally achieved my goal and graduated the Illustration & Design program at Dawson College in Montreal.

I now work freelance doing commissions and benefit galleries while in search of a full-time occupation. I love having the time to do all the artwork I want to do; now I want to achieve my next goal of making a living out of it. I won't stop working until I've accomplished this. Read Less
