Kara Smarsh is an emerging graphic designer from the shores of Lake Erie, currently seeking employment in Ohio's capital city. She has already been working with Photoshop and HTML for almost half of her life, and her passions lie in design for the web, typographic experimentation, illustration, and the art of effective articulation.
While obtaining her BFA in Graphic Design, Kara also completed a BS in Biology, as well as internships with design firms in Columbus, Ohio — the first with web and mobile design agency Shift Global and the second with Bonfire Red, where she worked on brand strategy, print, and digital design for a variety of clients.
