About me:

Born in Venezuela, raised in Puerto Rico art schooled in Baltimore (Maryland Institute College of Art) and now residing in Houston, Texas. I could never make up my mind between design and illustration, so I studied both. I have a very complicated last name and people love to bring it up at all kinds of social situations
I work hard and am at my best when overwhelmed.

I can do these things:

Illustration (editorial, advertising, poster)
Hand-lettering (any and every type)
Design (print, flash, web and even a bit of branding!)

I enjoy the marriage between illustration and design. A lot of my work is design as applied to illustration, but i am also capable and willing to work in strictly design/typography oriented projects. I am specifically proficient at merging text with images, composing bold and beautiful color pieces, and coming up with authentic concepts.

Overall, I enjoy solving visual problems in a refreshing way.
