I am a 43-year-old architect with strong knowledge and capabilities in design and construction; I am a creative and energetic person with more than 20 years of experience. I have hand sketching and advanced Revit skills and a wide experience in concept design, design development, project documentation, service coordination, site supervision and team management.

As you can tell by my C.V, my main experience is design and supervision of big budget projects (over 1 billion dollars) but I also enjoy working in medium and small size projects. My main professional experience has been design and coordination of health facilities and hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, airports, residential and office buildings. I received an advanced Autodesk diploma in Revit 2012 and strong skills in AutoCAD.
Since October 2010 I have been working for Stauch Vorster Architects as Project Architect. I’ve been involved in the design of the Gateway hotel (Durban) and the St Regis hotel (Mauritius). I’m currently responsible for the 100,000 sq. m. Matlosana shopping mall in Klerksdorp, two hours from Johannesburg. With these new responsabilities I’ve now been informed of my new position as an Associate at the company starting April 2013.
Previously to my current job I was the Site Architect for the “King Shaka” International airport located in Durban, South Africa, acting on behalf of Osmond Lange Architects (www.osmondlange.co.za) at the airport I was responsible for the Main Terminal Building (TMB) and the Multistory Parking Building (MSP) working at the Architectural Joint Venture (AJV) site office.
In the year 2005 I relocated from Bogota to Durban as Senior Project Architect for Basil Vogas Architects (www.bva.co.za), I joined the company as an expat due to my previous experience in hospital design. BVA is a Durban based company with multimillion projects in Cape Town and Johannesburg. I was then responsible for the design and documentation of Blauwberg hospital, a 165-bed hospital in Cape Town for Netcare Industries (23,000 M2),
During my 20 year professional career I also had the privilege of working for Cuellar Serrano Gomez S.A (www.cusego.com.co) for a period of eight (8) years, Cusego is one of the most prestigious design and construction companies in Bogota. I was involved in various projects including the development of big budget healthcare buildings. I also worked as a Project Architect for important office buildings, as well as residential and Institutional developments.
I have a 5 year Bachelor in Architecture (BA) from the Javeriana University in Bogota and studied 13 years at the Anglo Colombian School. I’m fluent in English and had the opportunity throughout my life to travel around the globe. I’m a people’s person with excellent social skills and leading capabilities.
