Showcase & Discover Creative Work

I am a university student studying for a Masters in Graphics Design at UCA. Having previously gained a 2:1 in Digital Media combined with Media & Cultural Studies at Canterbury Christ Church. I am seeking a challenging career in the creative media and design industry, for which I have always had a significant interest. I aim to focus on editing software and creative expression. I am seeking a graduate position to apply my knowledge and enthusiasm within a professional environment. My long-term goal is to become a key player in an established company, to design and create using cutting edge technology.

I am experienced in digital photography and Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Dreamweaver editing and production with a developing portfolio. I feel I am constantly learning as new software is developed and I enjoy challenging myself by learning new and exciting techniques.

I am also a keen apple mac user and feel comfortable with both pc and mac, having used a mac since 2006 and as I finished my university education, feel that this is essential for any work in any design role. I currently own a mac book pro, which I use to create all the work in my portfolio, which can be viewed by request. This shows that I am experienced with the fundamentals needed to become a skillful designer.

I also have a profound interest in films and advertising, which I read about in my subscription to ‘Campaign Magazine’ as well as ‘Empire’. I feel that this gives me a creative and diverse knowledge that I can apply to my design work. Films are one of the greatest sources for digital design in the current century, I aim to be able to create something that everyone can equally admire, as much as they would admire a film. Read Less
