Jonathan Kim is a multi-disciplined Art Director/Designer with experience in the fields of motion graphics, experiential design, performance art and creative strategy.
He started his creative career as a Choreographer/Creative Director for various dance productions in the states and asia. His passion for the arts led him to Otis College of Art and Design where he studied Digital Media/Motion Graphics. Since 2005, he has mainly functioned as an art director for the motion graphics industry, helping build brands and launch campaigns for commercial clients, agencies and networks.
In 2010, he was commissioned by the South Korean cultural department to strategize and art direct all interactive and experiential content for the Shanghai Expo Korea Pavilion. The pavilion ended up being one of 3 most visited sites throughout the expo.
He currently serves as Senior Art Director at Royale where he has helped visualize and lead successful campaigns for clients such as Nike, Disney, Apple, Toyota, Hyundai and MTV. Read Less
