My name is Jared Johnson, I am just finishing up my junior year and heading into my senior year at Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN. I am pursuing a graphic design/marketing major in hope of potentially working either for an advertizing agency or design firm. I have also set myself up with the necessary courses to attend architecture school following my completion of my undergraduate degree. My work revolves around my interests; I pull a lot of my architectural influences and ideas into my photography and sculpture. My work tends to be quite conceptual and often times I try to solve a problem or obstruct and manipulate architecture with photography and sculpture. I have had a few professional opportunities taking photos for the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties Day Camp, as well as proposing templates for project data sheets for Rani Engineering Firm. Student Manager, Monson Dining Center and 3900 Grill at Bethel University (2008- Present)
• Manage all student employees working in both locations.
• Maintain communication between chefs and students in order to provide exceptional service.
• Handle problems with orders and deal directly with customers first hand.
• Greet all customers while expediting their orders.

Day Camp Counselor, Unit Leader, and Camp Director Morgan Family YMCA in Tacoma, WA (Summer 2005-Present)
• I was place in charge of all the Counselors with in the 10-12 year old age groups
• Ran large group games for the kids and also campfire at the beginning of the day.
• Dealt with all of the discipline situations that came about within those ages groups
• Signed in and out all kids, which enabled me to directly communicate problem or praise directly to the campers parents.
• Another aspect was my ability to communicate with counselors and dialogue about how to make camp run more smoothly and to improve the experience for the kids.

Welcome Center Employee, Morgan Family YMCA in Tacoma, WA (2007- 2008)
• I was the first person that every member saw as they entered the YMCA to attend their various classes or activities. So I was very active in the greeting process.
• Worked on membership promotion.

• Was used as a preliminary graphic designer for t-shirt and bag design.
• Assisted with branding and design layout of Welcome Week informational packets and documents.

• Used solidified logo to create simple logo for drawstring bags.
