Illustrator, digital art, fine artist
Illustrator and fine artist in traditional and digital media. I was trained as a printmaker, have a BAFA. I used to teach at a university art school. History of art , printmaking and drawing. Couldn't drag my etching press across the continents when I moved to Canada, so started doing printmaking-like work on computer using a Wacom tablet. It turned into illustration. I also paint with real paint, the gooey stuff that makes a lovely mess and sticks to everything.
I have worked in the film industry and learned a lot more about painting, which has oozed into my fine art work and influences what I do and how I do it.
I recently bought a Wacom Cintiq tablet screen. I feel like I have landed in heaven, its that fun to play with. I use Corel Painter and occasionally Photoshop. I would like to learn more about using the gadgetry that they offer... there is a LOT.

Make intelligent art
I dislike fast food. I fear for a civilisation that forgets how to take time to do anything well. I worry that movies,literature, art, music, food and other beautiful things will be overrun by the fast food mentality and skill and care will be lost.
I dont think it will happen... but the whole fast food notion is abhorrent to me. I admire people who take care and pride in doing what they do.
