The Tempest was a Wimbledon College Project. After reading the play we each picked one character to design and construct the costume for our annual College costume show. My concept for The Tempest was to modernize it.
Trinculo is the King’s Fool, he drinks too much, provides comic relief whilst still presenting clear judgment. I wanted to portray his eccentricity by his strange taste for ridiculous fashion.
