I am a chilean Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I have been drawing and painting since I can remember.
My professional work experience is about 19 years in the areas of Illustration, Concept Design, Background Painting, Texturing, Art Direction and some knowledge of 3D Modeling and Animation. I have worked for companies in the areas of Graphic Design, Advertising, Editorial, Animation, Post-Production and Videogames.
I have to say that I am good at designing or creating environments and props from scratch, painting with a strong sense of color, and creating dramatic light/ambience in a background. Also, I always have a great time drawing and painting caricatures of famous people and some portraits too.
Currently, I´m looking for professional challenges as Freelance Illustrator.

Similar to the movies, the world of the VideoGames requires some work of pre-visualization to find those appropriate designs of environments, characters and props that will make the very own visual style and aesthetic of a VideoGame...This could be a very motivating and fun experience for an artist, but in the same way it could become into a very frustrating as well. I love the movies and several TV shows of all time, and as much as million of viewers around the globe, I´ve experienced a lot of emotion with those stories and the way the actors or actresses have imprinted their presence on the screen, through the ages. Precisely, this "presence" as always driven me to represent those people, trying to catch as much as I can "the essence" of the characters performed by them.
