Purpose:  Endeavr is a website I am developing as part of my Masters Thesis Project at Fuller Theological Seminary.

This is a development blog for a Web 2.0 startup called Endeavr.  I am presently working on the Endeavr identity/branding and overall design.  The oddly shaped globe was inspired by the sinusoidal map projection.  I wanted to convey motion and risk, and the logo needs to have an international sensibility.  Thus, it was important that the globe not feature only one hemisphere.  Much like Flickr and other Web 2.0 brands that utilize a uniquely spelled word as its domain, I found it necessary to highlight the "r" in bold color so as to draw attention to the fact that the letter "o" has been dropped from the common word "endeavor."

I am finishing a Master of Arts in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.  As part of the school's Brehm Center, I belong to a cohort of artists pursuing theological education.  We are required to complete a thesis project that blends our study of theology with our art.  In my case, I am developing a web site that will serve the Christian community at large by providing Web 2.0 services relevant to church ministry and global missions.
