My name is Jessica Kwan. I am a Graphic Designer and I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (2:1) in June 2013. I have always had a vision to become successful in something I love doing. I feel that I always knew deep down what that profession would be. I have always been creative, even from a young age and I am excited to achieve my goal of working within a design agency.
I am a very easy going person, enthusiastic and passionate about design. I am always eager to learn and I am open to anything new. I am very confident with Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and I am also acquainted with Flash and Premiere Pro. I have exceptional layout and typographic skills. I believe they are two very important areas of design in general. Photography and photo editing are useful for creating and manipulating imagery. I am a perfectionist and I have a strong attention to detail. I have a clean and simple style of design; however I am able to think ‘outside the box’.

I am an organised person and prefer to keep a schedule so I can balance my freelance work and my personal interests. I try to keep busy and enjoy new experiences. In my spare time I enjoy extreme sports such as snowboarding and rock climbing. On a more peaceful level I enjoy astronomy and stargazing. My passion for astronomy and design has led me to have a strong interest in Astrophotography.
