I began my education in visual arts and graphic design in my 6th grade year, attending magnet school programs and then on to the school of design at the Kansas City Art Institute. I am also interested in cultural anthropology which contributes heavily to design research. The different types of design I am interested include informational graphics, identity design, illustration, motion animation, exhibit design, magazine/book layouts, and more.

I was born in Kingston Jamaica and came to the U.S. when I moved to Miami at 8 years old. I attended elementary school which provided classes that was dedicated to helping their students get into middle school art magnet programs.
I then went to the art magnet program at Southwood Middle and there i decided I wanted to become a graphic designer. This decision led me to attend Design and Architecture Senior High where I took classes in drafting, art history, and graphic design. Afterwards I moved to Kansas City to attend KCAI's design program.
