Work Experience

Fluidity

Creative Director

My own private practice called "Fluidity" also doubles as my professional portfolio, spotlighting collaborative work with production partners spanning 10 years. As Fluidity, I develop customer, partner and PR/AR marketing experiences, as well as product demos and event content. These efforts often center around trade shows and product launches. I create hyper-realistic branded personas which can be used to understand and target b2b customers and B2C consumers in meaningful ways.

I can take the lead with a team, or independently develop digital experiences and content strategies. I feel fortunate that in the course of my career I've worked every angle from discovery, through concepts and final execution and distribution.

As modern experience builders, job-one is to create 1:1 connections that delight and inspire people. We'll deliver experiences seamlessly, and consistently. Customers will recommend your brand to colleagues, family and friends because we'll have earned that strong and lasting relationship.

Fridays

Creative Director & Producer

My work as a director/designer/producer in the tech sector has focused on building one-to-one digital relationships with customers, and community building. Our teams work to make sense of the underlying technologies and mass amounts of data that businesses encounter our cloud-based, touch sensitive world.

My journey with Fridays has enhanced my passion for telling compelling customer stories, developing solid business relationships and delivering strong creative that informs and inspires.

Fridays collaborates on everything from TV ads to live events and documentary adventures with some of the most amazing people and products on the planet. I’m grateful to be on the front lines—evolving these brands alongside some of the most talented creators in the biz.

I navigate tricky situations and find solutions that will delight not only our customers but also the team that created them. I mentor, share best practices and develop workflows to guide teams with a veteran's perspective, a smile, and perhaps a bribe of coffee or chocolate.

Fridays is a creative agency focusing on visual media. We tell hundreds of stories each year, impacting brands across the globe for customers like Google, Oracle, Trulia, Prologis, Marvell, Thumbtack, Nest, Verizon Wireless, Stanford, Logitech, and more.

TalentSage

Creative & Content Marketing Director (Consultant)

TalentSage is comprised of globally acclaimed academics, culture and engagement experts and online learning pioneers. Science is our ethos. Our fusion of data, insights and customized support helps you put research to work. My role is to make the technology disappear so leadership can develop and flourish. We create the groundwork for employees of all stripes to improve their skills and job satisfaction for a lifetime of work.

That's why we say "Organizations don’t exist, people within them do." We start with an inside-out approach, helping individuals understand themselves. Then we hold up a mirror to see how they impact others. We continue with perceptions in groups – how do people interact as a collective in the pursuit of a common goal? Finally, we extrapolate what we know into an organizational context. We will help you use science to design creative programs that match your true needs.

Learning is always top of mind, and our TalentSage programs have been developed by experts in organizational psychology and behavior, design, executive education, online gaming, research, strategic talent management, employer branding, and continuing learning.

Oracle Corporation

Senior Video Producer & Strategist (& Key Creative Project Lead)

I've always had a keen interest in ensuring customer/user experiences are unparalleled. That's why I felt honored to develop creative and video content for Oracle.

I was able to combine many creative and technical disciplines to produce interesting customer stories as well as related event, social media, PR/AR, demand generation and business development videos, presentations and experiences. On any given day I could be found planning, budgeting, scripting, rapid-prototyping and producing video content, as well as integrating all creative initiatives with the appropriate internal teams and corresponding programs and campaigns. I served as best practices leader for video within my business unit.

Drinking our own champagne, I developed persona based automated marketing campaigns, and the accompanying creative materials directly within Oracle Cloud Applications for use in videos, keynotes and all other marketing.

From July 2016 to December 2017 I also oversaw the development of several branded creative initiatives, which included events, demand generation campaigns, and product branding. My title remained Sr. Video Producer while these additional responsibilities were added to my plate.

I started as a contractor and ended up an employee in November of 2016.

Concepting, writing and developing ads, product demos, video teasers, web content and mobile applications for the Acrobat family of Apps at Adobe.

Adobe Document Solutions including Acrobat, Echosign, Adobe Sign, Adobe FormsCentral, PDF Mobile Solutions, and Adobe Send.

I advised and actively designed/visualized with the leadership of the Acrobat team at Adobe. Our primary goals are to advance the product marketing agenda with thoughtful and intuitive web sites, mobile applications, email communication, videos and social channels. It’s a bob-and-weave, always-on-your-toes experience, but one that I very much enjoyed. I’d been fortunate enough to call Adobe a client since I originally helped land their business in 2003 while Associate Creative Director at Grey Worldwide.
