Showcase & Discover Creative Work

As a young man Art has always influenced my life. I had a terrible sketchbook as a child with some crazy ideas but I never thought I was any good. Lacking the confidence needed for this industry and no real support from my parents my artistic drive faded, as I “should focus on getting a real job”. My parents did not see Art as a career but as a hobby. I was encouraged to be a businessman, lawyer or something of that nature the same story I am sure most of your parents have made for their kids. Parents only want what they think is best for their children. You can’t blame them for that!!

Most of my business background is in business management, legal fields and construction management. I was following what my parents dreams were, not my own. At the age of 29 I decided that this was not the life for me. I packed away the shirt, tie and dress shoes for Adobe Creative Suites, and began my future as a graphic, illustrator, poster, photo manipulator and web designer life.

I went back to school at the age of 29 and finished studying Web Development and Design and Graphic Design with a few classes of Illustration and Typography. See I originally went to school in 2000 for graphic design and left after getting an Associates Degree, cause of a “wonderful” legal opportunity became available for me.

Fast forward to the present day; I am now 2 years into my Photoshop/illustrator world-lifestyle and love it. I know I have so much to learn yet and being apart of the behanced family points outs how “not good” I really am. There are so many talented people on this site and in this world I can only hope to keep learning for you, and pushing myself to make fantastic art.
