My name is Jason W. Brown, and thanks to all the “experimenting” my parents did while I was in the womb, I am what some people call a “creative person”. I’m going to assume you’re interested in HOW I got into all this design stuff (considering you’re on my biography page) so here it goes…
September of 1993, the day we were supposed to sign up for our High School electives, I got stuck with Digital Photography because my mother ended up using my enrollment forms to line our cockatoos cage. His name was Woody. Damn, I miss Woody. He used to sit on my shoulder and clean my hair while I played Nintendo. If my memory serves me right, he flew away the following summer when my Pop’s buddy left the sliding glass door open. I think his name was Doug..? My Pop’s friend, not the bird. The bird’s name was Woody, remember? Anyways, I got stuck with this photography course and was pretty bummed because the majority of my peers signed up for the “cooler” courses like Woodshop, Ceramics, Art and so on… but me? Yeah… “Digital Photography”.

Turns out I’m pretty good at this photography stuff… especially the digital part of it, as I ended up winning a slew of awards, grants and a lot of recognition from professionals in the industry. But of course, I’m 18 years old at the time, so I’m like “screw this design stuff, man. I want to run around (like an naive teenager) and rule the world!” – Needless to say, I never got around to “ruling the world”, but I did end up gravitating back towards art and design in a crap-load of ways.
I’ve dabbled in music, graphic design, advertising and technology for the most part. Heck, I even saved a baby deer from a bear trap while soul-searching in Austria. Name another creative person that’s got that on their Resume! Read Less
