June 2010 - Present:
Lead Product Design Engineer at H-B Designs - Cycle Pedestrian & Sports infrastructure.
Tasked with leading an in-house design team bringing outsourced projects together and forming a portfolio of products. Product development role transforming one-off designs into resellable production ready products often employing modular design techniques.
Project managagement across disciplines including NPD, production and installation.
Design work ranges from small outdoor steel and timber buildings to final boxed product.
Further responsibilities include leading the redesign of the company website and literature in order to support a developing product range and enhance the sales pipeline.

August 2010 - Present: Awarded full membership to the Chartered Society of Designers

June 2007 - June 2010:
Product designer at 3Form Design Consultants. Responsible directly to the senior partner. Championed a wide variety of projects including electronic, child & baby, packaging and industrial products.
Main responsibilities ranged from problem solving and rapid product conception, clear and effective presentation of work to client, through to product development, prototyping and engineering. Other responsibilities included graphic and web design as well as management of office IT software & hardware resources.

Aug 2005 - Sept 2006:
Junior designer at FSW Design Consultants in Nottingham. As part of a work placement he was involved in many different projects gaining valuable consultancy and work place experience. Before returning to finish his degree he was employed for a further month as a full product designer.
