I trained in Fine Art, specialising in performance and live art. I worked as a scenic painter for four years before moving into design. I have designed Feature Films, Short Films, TV Dramas, Kids Dramas, Theatre, Theatre-in-Education, Performance + Live Art. I have been lucky enough to work in Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Malta, Czech Republic, South Wales, Scotland, Bradford, Sheffield + Leeds. I am responsible for crewing a team of inspired, creative + talented individuals. I am responsible for working to often very tight budgets. I have designed productions that have large ambitious studio set builds as well as location based work. I am experienced working with scripts, on improvised pieces + with artists in a less conventional context. I won the BAFTA in 2009 for best production design, was nominated for a BAFTA in 2010 and won the RTS Best Production Design award in 2010. Read Less
