Jack Maize is a designer from Orange County, California. He currently resides in San Luis Obispo where he is studying graphic design at California Polytechnic State University. He is preparing to graduate in June, in which he will receive a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Graphic Communication. Before transferring to Cal Poly, Jack studied design at Orange Coast College, in which he received an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design.
Jack has worked in different areas of design such as entertainment advertising, brand identity development, and internet marketing. Jack gained his experience in entertainment advertising while interning at Pulse Advertising and BLT Communications. Here he worked with creative directors and designers on website designs and film campaigns. A few of the notable campaigns Jack worked on were for the films Zombieland, The Hangover, Hung, The Bounty Hunter and Epic. Jack's experience with branding started at Agenda26, where he was responsible for designing websites, print collateral and logos for clients. When working as a junior designer at Alorad Inc., he developed his interactive design skills significantly. Here he worked solely with the creative director and was responsible for logo designs, copywriting, web design, banner ad design and social media marketing for websites.
