I have 10 years of art direction and brand management experience and 15 years of graphic design experience in in-house environments. I've been successfully freelancing for 3 years.
I love photography and type a lot; when they come together well, I think it's magic. And Illustration is a new found love of mine. My Mac is my favourite tool but I like playing with paper, watercolour, x-acto knives, and pens are good too. Projects I've worked on range wildly from lapel-sized pins to kilometers of fence fabric to wayfinding signage to 200-page publications. And thousands of projects in between.
Design is not just my profession, it’s my hobby. I find myself designing just for the fun of it ... regularly. I value my side-by-side doodle time I have with my son and he often influences what I do in my personal work; recently I've added kid-friendly fabric design to my hobby list. Read Less
