Currently living in Savannah via Barbados and Brooklyn, with roots in California. A 2017 fellow of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
For the past 14 years, I've been creating motion graphics for companies including TED Conferences, The Documentary Group, The New York Times, Tröllback, Bigstar, Framestore, the US Olympic Committee and Questus.
In San Francisco, my home for 14 years, I worked on projects with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; Maxis/Electronic Arts, Bonfire, Elastic Creative and others.
Prior to working freelance, I was a designer/producer at Gunshop, a motion graphics production company in San Francisco.
I received a bachelor's degree in Motion Graphic Design at Ex'pression College for Digital Art where I graduated with honors and earned Valedictorian of my class.

Entrepreneurial Journalism
The advanced certificate program takes place over one semester and is geared towards mid-career professionals or recent graduates. Because the program lasts only four months, it serves as a shorter alternative to a full M.A. degree.
Each participant develops a startup journalism venture while taking five core classes: Business Fundamentals, Entrepreneurial Skills, New Business Incubation, Media Innovation Fieldwork and New Business Models for News.
Among the highlights of the program are weekly guest sessions with leading startup founders, CEOs, and experts from top companies in the New York City media and tech ecosystem. We also make weekly visits to startups and innovation hubs that have included Google, Twitter, Facebook, Kickstarter, Buzzfeed, IDEO, and The New York Times.
