Shout Out!
All human beings and sentient lifeforms everywhere, I truly believe that creativity allows us the ability to first imagine and then accordingly actualize creating a better world.
What I love
Both Cinema and Television have fascinated me for as long as I can remember, in my attempt to pay them due tribute I have been nurturing a passion for being behind the lens making films and also putting together film and video screenings: the combination makes my heart and mind sing.
Since 2002 I have made several short videos and films and worked in collaboration with fellow artists on many more. My personal work tends to find me incorporating found as well as original imagery to make conceptual and emotionally charged experimental films and videos, I have worked in video as well as small gauge film (Super 8). Subject matter wise I am endlessly fascinated with investigating notions about human memory, emotions, nostalgia and how we accordingly store and process these experiences. Music and sound always play a an integral part in my filmmaking process; in several instances an audio track created by a fellow collaborator inspired me to then create a visual track to accompany it.

What I can share
In November of 2006 I began a curatorial art project in the form of a video screening series called Odds and Ends, I was originally inspired series to organize a show after being asked to do a showcase of my short film work with Portland’s Gallery Homeland I instead decided that it would be much more fortuitous as well as challenging to program an evening of short film and video work and within thirty days I had assembled a great screening that was well received and attended. Curatorial events have since become a great joy in inspiring me as an artist and have also allowed me to get really involved with presenting work to the community. I have presented shows in and around Portland Oregon, Northwest Film Forum's "Local Sightings" festival as well as programmed a screening for the Urban Nomad's Film Festival at the 2008 Taipei Biennial.
