All my achievements have through set assigment during my 2 years as a photography student at sandwell college.
Empty Spaces - Winnie took part in a project to promote West Bromich town centre. The project involved Sandwell Student taking photographs of artists from various fields e.g poets, singers, crafts etc. from Sandwell and the black country in the studio and these images appeared on empty shop walls.
Show me a secret - Successful Sandwell college students had an opportunity to showcase their work alongside Martin Parr a well know British documentary photographer, photojournalist and photobook collector. The project was about Sandwell and the black country. Winnie's images were selected to exhibit at The Public in West Bromich, see them here.
Food Photography - Winnie took part in a photography partnership with University College Birmingham, Home economics Students to take photographs of food for the university magazine. Winnie's image took 3rd place.
Still life Exhibition - For her final year project, Winnie exhibited photographs she took in the studio of bottles from the 1800s to 1900s. She wanted people to see these bottles in the way she perceived them in the physical sense. Her work exhibited at the Custard factory, Birmingham. Read Less
