Born in the UK...bred in Afiria...and survived over a decade of life in the Austrian Alps!

Before immigrating to South Africa in 1983 I had travelled to Italy, Belgium, France, Holland and Germany with my family.

School wasn't something that I really appreciated. Before commencing with my working career 1991, I had been enrolled in 12 different educational institutions, of which I had succeeded in being expelled from 2. The first time was at 13 and the second time, at 16. Fortunately I was always a little artistic, and started to work at a commercial design company as a junior interior designer and had the opportunity in 1994 to move into hospitality & resort as a senior designer.

By 1996 I was living in Austria and involved with building up a team of interior designers within an existing shop fitting company structure of 100 employees.

In 1999, I opened up my own studio in Austria and provided presentation illustrations ranging from conceptual design, artists impressions and presentations for various Interior Design companies, Architects and Shopfitting companies.

2004 was about the time I relocated to South Africa and have contracted to various architectural firms as a conceptual architectural illustrator since then. Read Less

I specialize in traditional hand drawn conceptual architectural and interior design illustrations. my involvement in a project is to explore and develop the initial design brief by means of visuals for the purpose of discussion.

Over the years, I have played an intricate role in getting the ball rolling and selling the idea. With this in mind, I have a good understanding of how to interpret a design brief and efficiently meet the deadline. Read Less
