Ivan is a keen, traveling and humanitarian photographer. As a Humanitarian Officer he has covered photography in Angola, Sudan, Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa. Ivan’s work focuses on people and places, his style is photo reportage. His photography tells a story and captures the natural essence of the place and its people.

His work has been published in IOM’s publications in London and Brussels. He has covered the humanitarian crisis in Lampedusa and written about the ‘forgotten island’ for the Royal Geographic Society in London where he will be exhibiting in October 2012 photos of daily life in Africa. The project consists of showing positive images of the continent. He is also involved in photo projects for local churches in London who carry out development work in Africa. Read Less
