Ian Wharton is an award-winning British creative based in London and Art Directors Club Young Guns honouree.
After graduating best-of-show from university with an acclaimed short animated film he has since worked with some of the world’s top brands and creative teams. At 22 Ian joined leading visual effects company The Mill as an art director, designing commercials for EA, Audi, Nokia and game trailers for Sony. One year on he was appointed associate creative director and led the company’s global digital rebrand across London, New York and LA.
In early 2010 Ian became partner of software start-up Zolmo, leading the creative for the Apple Design Award-winning apps for Jamie Oliver, some of the top-grossing apps for iPhone and iPad downloaded over 8 million times. After three years, Zolmo was included in Design Week's Top 50 Design Consultancies.
Ian is a regular speaker for educational institutions, organisations and conferences including TEDx and McKinsey&Company.
