Ian Williams is a contemporary artist whose work is informed by his background as a leading multidisciplinary creative. He works mostly with digital and conventional drawing and painting tools like many of the artists from whom he draws inspiration such as David Hockney, Julian Opie, Patrick Caulfield and Michael Craig-Martin.
Ian’s CGI films have won great acclaim and international awards for their quality, timelessness and multiple applications.
With extensive experience in commercial film and video production and his photographic expertise, Ian is a multi-talented individual able to respond to any creative challenge, producing works across many media.
Ian’s emphasis on carefully considered and succinct image making techniques, embracing surreal, emotive or humorous subtexts, ensure that his works are universally accessible and appealing.
Currently working from his home in West Sussex and studio in Winchester, Ian is at present creating a new media project with a multi-million selling record producer and is also exhibiting and selling throughout the UK and in 2013 he is looking to exhibit further afield with Los Angeles firmly in his sights.
