I produce, write, direct, shoot and edit films and television; working in entertainment television, documentary, arts and children’s programming. I studied art history at the University of Minnesota and received a B.F.A. from New York University's Institute of Film and Television.

I’ve worked on some of the most innovative shows on television. What I bring to every project and client is exciting, enlightening story-telling –with style, humor and intelligence.

The range of topics I’ve produced cut across almost every imaginable area from pop culture to nano technology. I excel at interviewing both ordinary people and celebrities. I have the ability to find –and get access to –unique stories and people.

I work with low budgets, getting high production values. My conceptual skills allow me to catapult into new territories with ease and success.

Working primarily as a field producer, at various companies I have also led small teams, training and organizing producers, crews, editors and designers. I am prepared to take on any challenge –creative, logistical or organizational –low or high budgeted projects and coordinating all aspects of production from casting through post. I thrive in high pressured situations.

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO RECENTLY

THE DO LECTURES Producer, Shooter 18 videos produced on location and posted on YouTube the same day for a series of talks by young non-profit and entrepreneurial leaders, sponsored by BusinessWeek Magazine.

From 2006 to 2009 I produced for a weekly show on the arts and food, MUSE, for Bloomberg Television winning a NY Press Club and LA Press Club award. I produced over 120 segments while there. I also set new standards for broadcast journalism in field and post-production not only on MUSE but across Bloomberg's line-up of field produced shows.

As a side venture, I produce a video web series on the arts. With an economy of means I program, produce, direct, shoot and edit the segments as well as encode and post them to the web.

My architecture film, GRAND OPENINGS was featured in 2008 in the Walker Art Center and Carnegie Mellon Museum exhibit, World’s Away. In 1989 I was awarded a Citation for Excellence in Urban Design by the American Institute of Architects for NEW YORK CITY WATERFRONT.
