WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO RECENTLY
THE DO LECTURES Producer, Shooter 18 videos produced on location and posted on YouTube the same day for a series of talks by young non-profit and entrepreneurial leaders, sponsored by BusinessWeek Magazine.
From 2006 to 2009 I produced for a weekly show on the arts and food, MUSE, for Bloomberg Television winning a NY Press Club and LA Press Club award. I produced over 120 segments while there. At MUSE, I was instrumental in giving the show its look and style. I also set new standards for broadcast journalism in field and post-production not only on MUSE but across Bloomberg's line-up of field produced shows.
As a side venture, I produce a video web series on the arts. With an economy of means I program, produce, direct, shoot and edit the segments as well as encode and post them to the web.

I wrote and produced for the NBC primetime series, TV NATION; Brandon Tartikoff’s late night CBS talk-show, LAST CALL and TILT 23 1/2o for Fujisankai Television and the daily LIFETIME LIVE. I was a segment producer for WNET’s CITY ARTS and Metro Channel’s GOTHAM TV.
I produced and directed the half-hour drama, ERIC BOGOSIAN'S FUNHOUSE and DANCES IN EXILE (choreographed by Ruby Shang and written by David Henry Hwang) for the PBS series, ALIVE FROM OFF CENTER as well as for PBS's ALIVE FROM OFF CENTER. My architecture film, GRAND OPENINGS was featured in 2008 in the Walker Art Center and Carnegie Mellon Museum exhibit, World’s Away. In 1989 I was awarded a Citation for Excellence in Urban Design by the American Institute of Architects for NEW YORK CITY WATERFRONT.
I was associate producer for Nicholas Roeg on the pilot of the Comedy Central series, THE BIG ROOM.
As an editor I won an EMMY for work on the CBS series PEE WEE'S PLAYHOUSE. I edited shows for the Maysles Brothers, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, network TV specials at CBS, ABC, PBS, Sesame Workshop and Henson Associates. I edited the Academy Award nominated documentary AT THE EDGE OF CONQUEST: THE JOURNEY OF Chief Wai-Wai.
I am an adjunct professor at St. Johns University in the Communications Department.
