Hannah Ross was born in Washington D.C. and spent six years living abroad in Panama, Japan, and the UK. She received her BFA from New York University and has completed photographic training through the Pratt Institute and the Corcoran. Hannah draws a great deal of inspiration from her travels throughout the western United States in ghost towns, abandoned mines, and isolated landscapes. Her work plays with themes of irony, solitude, decay, and society's conceptions as she explores the human condition.
