Hyesu Lee was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. After working as a graphic designer for several years, she discovered her true love was illustration and decided to pursue that receiving her BFA degree in illustration at University of Arts London as well as an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
