Greener City Concept.
This project, composed of 3 proposals, addresses the growing need to provide alternative energy to the cities, reduce pollution and overdependence on non-renewable energy sources.
1. A self sustained building with funnel shaped wind collectors, on parking floors, photovoltaic panels on the roof and green areas on the roof and walls.
2. An unusual power plant, gathering solar and wind energy, in 3 bus stops versions, according to available space.
- First version: compact, ideal for regular sidewalks.
- Second version: bike stands in both sides, ideal for wider sidewalks.
- Third version: has also a space for a store and an external counter that can be a cafeteria, a newsstand, etc, ideal for wide sidewalks, squares or parks. This design transforms a simple bus stop into a pleasant place to be.
3. A “kick scooter store”, powered by human energy, connecting traders located in the heart of the city to other areas. Equipped with a dynamo that captures the kinetic energy, to light the vehicle at night, and provide other facilities. Ideal for deliveries services, street vendors, small business, mail, etc. integrating the city neighborhoods in an ecological way.
