As a Junior Designer for a full service marketing communications, advertising, design and web agency I am responsible for various design and marketing tasks, across print and digital, which involve working through the design process from concept to pre-press, and in cases, press. Day-to-day design jobs include creating and producing stationery products, and designing for DL’s, flyers, signage, posters, brochures, forms and other marketing collateral for our clients, as well as print management, client meetings and order invoicing.

In a unique role, I used my skills as a graphic designer to consult on the company’s rebrand, and in particular on the design and development of the new company websites. Reporting to the Web Developer and Business Director, I liaised with international web developers to see through the project from beginning to end. Working with interstate graphic designers and local information architect specialists, day-to-day duties involved in-person and online progress communication, producing and supplying content to the developers, proofing and editing website content, designing new web pages and communicating design changes.

Working as an Advertising and Client Services Assistant my duties involved client relations, preparing and publishing advertising copy for property marketing online and for print, liaising with photographers and editing photographs for web, designing marketing material such as flyers and signage for properties and agents, and assisting agents in following the brand’s style guide.

Study Abroad Placement at IED Florence campus in Advanced Graphic Design - specifically studying Corporate Identity, Photography, Digital Publishing and Font Design for a 6 week project.
