From the time I could hold a pencil I drew.

I drew all the time, every spare minute,

I preferred to draw more than anything else, I found peace in the detail.


When it came to finding a place artistically in the world, I became a graphic designer.

Initially the discipline of graphic design was difficult for me to grasp but I persevered

and soon it became an integral part of my creative process.

The combination of design and art can be a difficult relationship, one of turmoil, or

reconciliation but like many tumultuous relationships it creates passion.

That passion is what drives me now.

Previously I used paper, paint and graphite but now I just draw |directly onto the

screen, it’s exactly the same process for me - well not exactly - you do lose the

freedom of freehand but you gain something else, edit-ability, evolution by design...

My work is drawn straight onto the computer via Wacom, every aspect of the illustration has it's own unique layer ensuring every part of the illustration is editable.

This means an illustration can be transferred successfully to other applications like Photoshop and Flash for further manipulation and animation.

My style is defined by the medium, I like strong bold lines- particularly in my strokes which I use to emphasize depth. I use complementary bold primary colors and my drawing is infused with a peculiar stylized take on the world around me.

I have a playful point of view, sometimes dabbling into the macabre and the grotesque, the erotic with random gay abandon. Read Less
