Hal is a multidisciplinary Creative Director that has worked in design, advertising and directing fields across the globe, founded his own design agency and created music videos for Snoop Dogg and Sesame Street.
After five years in design, Hal crossed over into advertising where he worked for M&C Saatchi Sydney, 180 Amsterdam and BBH New York, creating global campaigns for Google, Sony, Adidas, Qantas, Axe (Unilever), Sprite, Coca Cola, MTV, BMW, Audi, Amstel Beer to name a few.
Hal's received international awards for advertising, design, film and direction including a 'Best of Show' / Gold Pencil at One Show Design, a Gold ADC Cube, Gold Cannes Lion, Type Director Club Award, a Webby and 5 Grand Prixs for work entered into film and animation festivals worldwide. He’s exhibited art at 3 NYC galleries and has one piece permanently featured at the Australian Centre of the Moving Image.
His music video for a Japanese band called Sour (Hibi No Neiro), among other international accolades became the YouTube 'top-rated film and animation' in Japan of all time.
