Hi friend!
I am an artist by hobby, and I have been dabbling in the arts my whole life. My grandmother encouraged and nurtured my interests and talents in drawing and painting ever since I was a little girl.
After about a two-year break, I returned to drawing this past spring because a friend of mine wanted to teach himself how to draw. I was re-inspired, and I had a fresh new start. Through the help of my friend's new interest in becoming an artist, and having the influence of some other close friends with amazing creative talents, I have been feeling rather creative myself, and I am in love with the things I'm creating!
Currently, however, I have very little free time because I am working full-time as a teaching assistant at a preschool, and I have started a graduate program for Early Childhood Special Education. This is my passion for a career. I believe that working with preschoolers every day keeps my curiosity alive, and fuels finding the novelty of my experiences in every day life.
I would not say that I am a professional artist, but I do enjoy it! I would someday like to illustrate my own (or someone else's) childrens' book. As you can see by most of my creative work, I love illustration. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! Read Less
