About Me:
Greg Tariff is an American graphic designer who is originally from Western Massachusetts. While attending Longmeadow High School located in Longmeadow, MA, Tariff later decided that he wanted to study either business or graphic design. Having come across RCAD (Ringling College of Art and Design) located in Sarasota, FL, it was sure to be a perfect fit for what Tariff was looking to study. During his Junior year at RCAD, Tariff was selected for one of the most sought after internships in the country. Tariff was able to obtain real world experience while at General Motors for the 2008 internship program.
Along with having interned with one of the largest corporations in America, Greg has also received recognition of his knowledge of design through collegiate scholarships, features on various design websites, and having art work selected for judged gallery shows. Due to his creative ideation and imaginative thought process, Tariff has also been described as a conceptual designer for his ability to not only think as a graphic designer but in addition for having the ability to create proposed theories of possible project outcomes. Now a college graduate having obtained a BFA majoring in graphic and interactive communication accompanied with a minor in the business of the arts, Tariff has now become ready for the next chapter in his life.

Creative Design Intern, DRAFT FCB, New York, NY., 6/2009-9/2009
DRAFT FCB is one of the largest advertising agencies in the world with headquarters in both New York City and Chicago. Working with some of the largest companies as clients. I have gained real world experience in designing entire projects as well as pitches for new potential clients.
Graphic Design Intern, General Motors, Warren, MI., 6/2008-9/2008
Individually selected for one of the most sought after design internships in the country. I was responsible for three creative teams that consisted of a transportation designer, sculptor, 3d modeler, engineer, color and trim designer, and a communications intern. My task was to work between the three teams and provide each team with logo design, page layout, environmental graphics, brand research, storyboarding, and motion graphics.
Designer, The Sign Connection, Vernon, CT., 5/2007-9/2007
Customer service, Advertisement/Sign Design, Logo Design, Installation. My day-to-day task was to create and build signs for offices and local businesses. I also had to work with vinyl cutting printers and applying work vehicle vinyl advertisement wraps.
Promotional Sales and Marketing Experience
Campus Representative, Apple Computers, Cupertino, CA., 1/2006-10/2007
Providing students with on campus service, organizing promotional events, and performing product demonstrations. My job was to connect with students in different ways that Apple could not by being around fellow classmates 24/7 and to notify students on the benefits they could obtain by using their student discount.
