Graham Wiles was born in Durban, South Africa in 1988 and attended the Durban University of Technology from 2008, obtaining a National Diploma in Graphic Design in 2010. Having studied full-time in 2011, Graham graduated with a BTech Honors Degree in Visual Communication Design, obtaining an overall distinction.
Graham, also known as Urb-Ski, enjoys below-the-line graphic design and has a particular interest in illustration, typography, packaging and photography. He is a versatile young designer who enjoys brand and network building. His style incorporates attention to detail whether he is using clean vectors or illustrating in his trademark loose style.
In 2011, Graham co-founded Network 9 Bodyboarding, a bodyboarding lifestyle, clothing and accessories brand along with business partner, Gareth Harris. In 2012, he founded The Pit™, a South African Bodyboarding photography & videography group, blog and ‘zine.
During his 4 years of studying, Graham worked as an independent graphic designer and is currently employed as a visual communicator for an international kiteboarding company in the Airush Africa studio. Read Less
