I’m Grace Barkley, freelance writer and designer and author of the blog Runs With Markers. I am a woman of many interests. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work in a large number of industries in a short time including fine art, children’s products, jewelry, custom apparel and magazine journalism.
I realized I didn’t like being limited to one industry and wanted to somehow be involved across the board. By freelancing in different capacities like writing for a regional magazine or managing social media for a small jewelry business, I am able to surround myself with things I am passionate about while doing what I love, writing and graphic design.
I am currently earning my M.F.A. in Professional Writing from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA to further my writing chops and build my knowledge of the world of social media and copywriting.
