My name is Anne-Marie and I am a recent graduate from Humber's Graphic Design for Print & Web program. Before studying at Humber I attended the University of Toronto where I specialized in Italian Language & Literature. I've always known that I wanted to find a career that not only inspired me but one where I am happy to wake up in the morning and go to!
I discovered quickly while at Humber that I found what I was looking for. I love Italian Literature and learning new languages, and now having acquired technical skills in the design industry, I can compound both my loves.
I find a lot of inspiration in areas such as Lettering & Type, Layout, Digital Media, and Illustration. I have developed an affinity for creating beautiful and ornate lettering. In fact, right now I am working on a Toronto Burlesque Extravaganza campaign, where I get free reign on everything! Not too shabby for a first-timer.
Aside from Graphic Design, I'm an avid reader and some of my favourite authors include Vikram Seth, Luigi Pirandello, Orhan Pamuk, and oh so many more. I also keep up with Marketing Mag and Computer Arts, which you will notice I have recreated their magazine for one of my Digital Publishing projects.
