I was to choose 6 actions from the 100 listed at wearewhatwedo.org and create an advertising campaign. The six I chose were: - Calculate your carbon footprint. - Choose your friends wisely. - Say thanks. - Take time to listen. - Register online as an organ donor. - Find out where your lunch has come from. I chose these purely on a visual preference, I thought I could get more from these six. Above is a range of postcards featuring all six of my concepts. I was asked to design a professional looking logo. Initially the client was determined to use the Silver Surfer character from Fantastic 4 but I was reluctant due to copyright etc. The final logo did infact feature the character but it was a half arsed attempt in the end due to the arrogance of the client. I was given the image of a man dancing and I had to incorporate that into the logo in some way. I decided just to use the silhouette of the dancer and place him in different backdrops.
