Born in 1981. Lives in Rome.
Works as a documentary photographer, mainly involved in long term projects focused on the relation between landscape and all kinds of phenomena that take place in it.
Graduated in architecture from FAF (Ferrara Architecture Faculty)
in 2008, with a research thesis on photography and urban system analysis, titled “PHOTO(+)DATA backup – A feedback for the contemporary city”, curated by Vittorio Savi. Started approaching photography by himself in 2004, after indipendent studies on cinematography, while majoring in architecture at university.
In 2009 got an internship at VU’ in Paris.
In 2010 got a master in photojournalism at ISFCI in Rome and attended workshops with photographers like Patrick Zachmann, Davide Monteleone, Christina Garcia Rodero and others.
He published on italian and foreign magazines such as Brand Eins, Taz Berliner Zeitung, l’Espresso (on line), National Geographic Italia (on line)
and others. He exhibited in important institutions as Triennale di Milano.
