As the Creative Director and a member of the senior management team, I defined the creative direction for the agency and its fortune 500 clients. I helped redefine and rebrand the agency and built an award winning creative department that elevated the creative product helping the agency double in size during my tenure.
This included building, directing, mentoring and inspiring creative teams of copywriters, art directors and designers from concept to execution. I worked with internal and external clients to help define clear strategies for integrated campaigns – especially in non-traditional channels including digital, social, experiential and mobile experiences. I drove the internal, conceptual and creative development process for client presentations, programs and new business pitches and worked together with the account team to help prioritize and ensure creative work was on strategy, on budget, met goals and deadlines and always exceeded client expectations.

Creative Director / Worldways Social Marketing

As the Creative Director for Worldways Social Marketing I had the pleasure of bringing big-brand thinking to many companies and organizations that were dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. This included many health and wellness initiatives, corporate social responsibility programs and environmentally friendly initiatives.
During my tenure, I helped reduce childhood obesity rates, communities save water, reduce unintended pregnancy rates, made available health coverage to those who couldn't afford it, and reduced hunger and poverty around the globe–not bad for a days work.
I was a member of the senior management team and defined the creative direction for the agency and its clients. This included building, directing, mentoring and inspiring creative teams of copywriters, art directors and designers from concept to execution. By merging traditional and non-traditional branding strategies with social marketing tenants, we were able to develop many programs that made a measurable positive impact on the world.

As a Senior Art Director, I was a leader in the creation of creative work for the agency and its clients. I worked hands-on while providing oversight to creative teams. I not only created excellence, but I inspired excellence in others as well. I worked closely with account management to formulate strategically sound concepts and solutions to help solve client's business needs and then worked with and guided writers, art directors and designers to develop great ideas, smart execution approaches and innovative uses of medias. As a Senior Art Director at ASO, I had the pleasure of working directly for the creative director / partner, Patrick Scullin. I was responsible for developing integrated campaigns using talent, versatility and out of the box conceptual thinking. I communicated our client's product messaging in a uniquely fresh, memorable and persuasive way. I worked with senior writers, account management and the Creative Director to consistently deliver big ideas, and produce high quality, award winning work. I developed and guided creative ideas through all stages of pre-production and production on many projects, including broadcast productions up to a million dollars. I always maintained a high conceptual and graphic standard and proactively continued to learn new techniques. I continually worked to enhance the agency-client relationship and work.

Art Director/ Clarke Advertising & Public Relations

I got my start in the ad biz before I graduated ad school, not as an intern, but as an Art Director. I carried a full course load and worked as an Art Director for Clarke Advertising--funny coincidence, but no relation. I would learn more in one day at Clarke than I would in weeks at school. My experience at Clarke really helped accelerate my career.
As an art director I was responsible for working on a variety of media including print, collateral, broadcast and web. I developed a very keen eye for design and my conceptual skills grew stronger with every day and soon I became the preferred art director for projects at Clarke and began to rack up a great deal of local ad-hardware (awards).
