Freelance Graphic Designer
Conceptualize, design, and execute all manner of graphics for clients, ranging from corporate identity and branding packages, logotypes, menu designs, store brochures, leaflets, and flyers, as well as detailed mobile and desktop web interfaces. Respond to client feedback and adjust designs and graphics according to their specifications as well assisting clients in deciding which direction to take with their company branding and visual presentation needs.
Barnes and Noble
Bookseller & NOOK Sales Representative
Responsible for delivering fast, efficient, and friendly cashiering services. Maintained and organized store displays, straightening, adding, and removing products when needed. When working at the NOOK desk, assisted customers with buying the devices, as well as general education on how to use them. Also maintained desk inventory and kept a clean work environment. As a customer service desk representative and bookseller, assisted customers in locating and ordering books through the store’s computerized inventory system. Promptly answered phone calls and managed orders via phone. Also front-listed and rotated incoming inventory according to manager specifications.
I was hired onto Zeunic’s creative team for one month to design & illustrate a new background for their promotional micro-site. Though I was given quite a bit of creative liberty with the painting itself, I was required to follow a strict set of file guidlines to the letter.
Freelance Web Designer
Supervised by the company’s head web-developer, I was tasked with the design of multiple web pages, as well as presenting Photoshop mockups of conceptual interfaces. I utilized my skills in user-interface design to bring a fresh eye to the company’s e-commerce clientele.
As a graphic & web design intern, I was tasked with designing a new website alongside their in-house web developer. Through our combined efforts, we conceptualized, executed, and promoted the new site, designed to increase the company’s outreach and involvement in local community businesses.
