I was approached by Bond with an assignment to photograph the staff of an interior design agency, Workspace. The catch was that the pictures would have to be expressive, simple and give off a vibe of quality. Being mainly a people photographer, I happily took the task. We shot for two days to maximize the time spent with each subject (15 altogether in the first stage + more later on) in order to make sure we got both an energetic pose + a relaxed, more natural portrait out of them all.
The subjects turned out to be wonderfully in tune with the idea and aided by blazing music and an overcaffeinated photographer they got into playing around in front of the camera surprisingly quickly.
After the initial portrait sessions, I was tasked to photograph various spaces the agency had designed. A few pictures of these are mixed in with the portraits.
The work paid off as the project was awarded with a Golden Award at "The best of the year"-awards (Vuoden huiput-gaala) by Grafia in 2012. Read Less
