TumbStreet Tile - Sant Antoni Neighborhood - 2011
In order to encourage a sense of neighborhood, in Barcelona’s Sant Antoni neighborhood, and taking advantage of the redevelopment of one of their icons, the Market of Sant Antoni, a special tile was designed for the occasion.
The design of the piece has two references: On the one hand, the central cross is the figure of the market from above. Moreover, the shape is inscribed in one of the octogonal islands from the Cerdà Plan of Barcelona’s Eixample.
