This outdoor lounge chair and footrest was created during summer 2012. Working as a freelance carpentry instructor, I assisted teenagers and younger children on making objects from their own designs. Completed after several weeks, the lounge chair materialized through disciplined, cooperative work with the student. Using inexpensive materials, the project was built exclusively from pine wood, and stained with protective finish.
