To understand ‘Strings Attached’, we have to start with the phrase –
‘No Strings Attached’.
We like to believe that we are free and unattached to life’s corner stones.
But like the many contradictions that live within us, if we stop and think, we realise we do have a lot of strings anchored to life.
To our experiences, our memories and our little secrets.
In an attempt to understand this irony, I give you, ‘Strings Attached’.
An exploration of our personal realities - the ones that lurk under our skin.
And every once in a while, these ignored subjects climb onto a canvas and choose to be heard.
