Our socio-cultural biography bears the imprint of complex behavioural mechanisms that have become archetypes, and of visual encoding. In post-global reality, brimming with standardisations and a plethora of information channels, we reach out for some dynamic deconstruction and to collage a new definition of the human body while innovative communication channels are busy disintegrating its morphological existence. In my work I address the recoding of the body according to the collective unconscious and mythical symbolism - in other words, character design. Drawing on standardised thought patterns, I create a number of fictitious characters that unite within themselves diverse semantic interpretations; they portray hybridised bodies in a naturalistic ‘imaginary space’.
