I felt a fur ball forming in the pit of my stomach when I was first asked to sculpt a mountain goat from paper. Luxuriously coiffed mammals gave me fits after thoroughly enjoying the simple layering of feathers. Over time my method for dealing with the flow and texture of fur progressed yielding some success and many failures. Out of the lot, I'd have to say that the patterns in swirling wet fur is the most satisfying although while difficult, I really do enjoy the challenge posed from either fur or feathers.
